Smallholder farmers in Ghana face challenges such as limited access to improved seeds, scarce mechanization services, and low technical knowledge. Without access to certified seeds and climate-smart technologies, many farmers experience low yields and remain vulnerable to climate shocks. The absence of affordable tractor services makes land preparation labour-intensive and less efficient, particularly for women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
Furthermore, limited business skills and weak advocacy structures restrict farmers’ ability to thrive in competitive markets and influence the policies that shape their livelihoods. At Shallom Agro Services, we work to bridge these gaps—improving productivity, enhancing resilience, and empowering rural communities through sustainable and inclusive agricultural solutions.
Seed production and dissemination
We produce and supply certified, climate-resilient seeds that help smallholder farmers improve yields and adapt to changing weather patterns. Alongside seed dissemination, we engage in awareness creation campaigns to educate farmers on the importance of using high-quality inputs to boost productivity and food security.
